
My name is Mounir, and I’m a classically trained, Michelin-star chef with over 20 years of experience working in some of the world’s most respected kitchens. My culinary journey has taken me from New York City to Marrakech and Siena, where I developed my craft while blending technique, creativity, and tradition. My approach to cooking is rooted in respect for ingredients, thoughtful execution, and a constant curiosity for new ideas.
I created Jersey Farm To Table to share my culinary experience in a way that’s approachable and practical for home cooks. Through this blog, I focus on easy-to-make recipes, locally sourced ingredients, and a commitment to sustainability throughout the Garden State. My goal is to make good food feel accessible while celebrating the farms, markets, and producers that make it possible.
When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m traveling, exploring new cuisines, and learning from different cultures. I’m always searching for inspiration whether it’s a spice from a street market, a technique from another region, or a simple seasonal ingredient that sparks my next recipe.
