BEST ROASTED BUTTERNUT SQUASH
There is no best way to intensify the flavors and bring out the natural sweetness than oven- roasting. This crispy oven-roasted butternut squash is super easy to make with beautiful presentation to impress you guests.
INGREDIENTS:
½ pound butternut squash
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 bay leaves
4 sprigs of thyme
Salt/fresh-ground pepper to taste
STEPS:
Preheat the oven to 375 degree F.
First, grease a baking sheet with olive oil. Then, peel the butternut squash and start cutting parallel thin slits into the butternut squash about 90% of the way through, without cutting completely.
Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the fresh thyme on top.
Cook for about 40 minutes or until crisp and toothpick can go through.
