Crispy fried spiralized potatoes

CRISPY FRIED SPIRALIZED POTATOES

I prefer to use my spiralizer machine in spring, as there are big selections of produce available and in season.

I like using spiralizer, as it is much quicker and neater as well as the vegetables come out very beautiful.

This creative way to make curly fries is easy, crispy and tasty.

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound of Idaho potatoes

Vegetable oil for frying

Kosher salt

STEPS:

First, heat about 3 inch of the vegetable oil to 375 degrees F using the thermometer.

Meantime, start peeling the potatoes and start spiralizing them using the large blade of the spiralizer machine, and then soak the potatoes in cold water.

When the oil is hot, drain and pat dry the potatoes with paper towel.

Fry the potatoes in batches for about 3 minutes or until golden and crispy, transfer to paper towel and drain, sprinkle with salt and serve hot.
