Oven baked rhubarb and strawberry

OVEN BAKED RHUBARB AND STRAWBERRY

Rhubarb and strawberry go very well together and they come both in season at about the same time, so this is definitely going to be a perfect recipe.

You can buy fresh Rhubarb when they are in season and freeze them since they have short season and hard to find.

INGREDIENTS:

½ pound rhubarb cut to 1-inch pieces

½ pound Strawberry cut in halves

5-tablespoon sugar

STEPS:

First, heat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Meanwhile, toss the strawberries and the rhubarb with sugar until well coated, then put in a shallow dish or baking sheet with sides, make sure to shuffle well so they are in a single layer.

Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes or until tender, they should be in shape and not mushy.
