However, we are not only seeing the conditions of the chicken before it is cooked but we are missing the process of handling and cooking as well. Therefore, the good thing about roasting chicken at home is that your whole house will smell home cooking roasted chicken for the whole day and of course, the whole family will eat healthy.
So, I will show you an easy recipe with simple ingredients that everyone has in his or her kitchen right now.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 ( small to medium) butterflied organic free range chicken
Kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper
4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
STEPS:
First, preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Meantime, combine the kosher salt, freshly ground pepper and extra virgin olive oil in a bowl. Next, gently rub the chicken with the paste make sure you rub the underside of the chicken as well. Then, place the chicken skin side up in iron cast pan.
Oven roast the chicken until golden brown and the internal temperature reads over 165 degree since it is a small medium chicken cooking time is about 45 minutes.
